Just wow wow wow wow! Five stars all the way…I will never see water the same way… I will never drink water the same way… Even the way this machine makes the small ice cubes improves the taste of the water… It has brought enjoyment into drinking water the same way I would enjoy drinking a cold latté or a cold, sweet beverage… And to top it all off… The app gives you just enough info to know what the machine is up to… It doesn’t overwhelm you with a bunch of alerts and notices like other apps… For all the things that it is able to do and for the large amount of water it can contain, the size of this device is just about right… I still cannot find anything negative about this product… One thing negative that I thought it had was that you cannot hook it up to your wire pipeline… But I just discovered yesterday that you actually can… So yes, this device is just perfection… Because at the end of the day, water is essential and what better yet to have a machine that improves the quality of your water consumption
If you love nugget ice like I do, this machine is a dream! It makes a ton of ice fast and the app control is surprisingly handy. I love that it dispenses both water and ice and has a sleek look that fits perfectly on my counter. The self-cleaning feature is a lifesaver.
Great product! Even better customer service!! Very patient with me. This is my second Ecozy ice makers! Getting another! Don’t hesitate to get one! Make sure to use filtered water though! Fast ice! GREAT lil crunch cubes! Quiet!

This is a really good icemaker. I don't think I would spend this much on an icemaker though. The best feature is being able to start it remotely. That has a lot of value. I can use my phone's app or talk to my devices throughout my house and tell it to start making ice. About 20 to 30 minutes later its ready. It also can be used for drinking water. You can pick the water temperature.
It displays the water's TDS level. That is the Total dissolved solids (TDS) is measured as a volume of water with the unit milligrams per liter (mg/L), otherwise known as parts per million (ppm). It is good to know what that level is. Its also concerning that my tap water is at the top of the acceptable level lol. You may want to use filter water using this. After seeing my TDS levels I will be.
It has the quick glass fill-up presets. It doesn't have ice fill-up presets. You need to start and stop the ice filling. It fills a glass quickly so you need to be paying attention. It does not fit a large water bottle. The ice shape is nice.
I don't understand the ice "basket"/access on the top. The directions refer to it as a basket, but there is no good way to retrieve it from the top. There is no scoop or easy way to pull it out. Its more like its just there to see how full it is.
This isn't cheap. I think this is a great mini appliance, but I can't see myself paying this much for it. You would really need to want the remote start feature to justify it.
Ecozy Did It Again – Huge Upgrade & Perfect for the Whole Family! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This is my second Ecozy product, and this newer ice maker is a massive upgrade from the model I had before. I liked the old one, but this one feels like it leveled up in every possible way—and I honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed!Right off the bat, the sleek, compact design fits perfectly on our kitchen countertop without taking over the space. It looks high-end and modern, and it’s clearly built to last. The unit feels sturdy and durable, which is exactly what we need in a busy household. It’s packed with smart, practical upgrades: • Vibrant icons and real-time TDS + temperature display—clear visuals that make it easy to monitor everything at a glance. • Advanced double-layer insulation—ice stays colder 20% longer, with noticeably less melting. • Pull-out water tank + removable ice basket—makes refills and clean-up super easy. • Smart app & voice control—I can start or stop it from anywhere using the EcozyHome app or voice commands with Alexa (or if you have Google Assistant that will work too). • Produces up to 44 lbs of ice daily—plenty for hosting, cooking, or just keeping the family hydrated. • Built-in LED basket light—no more guessing if we’re running low on ice. • Self-cleaning mode + removable parts—keeping it fresh and clean is truly effortless. It’s perfect for our family of four—well, five if you count the dog, who now expects “water cookies” (aka nugget cubes) every single time the door opens. 😂 We pay the toll happily, because the chewable ice is that good!If you’re thinking about upgrading or buying your first Ecozy, this is the one to get. Smarter, faster, cleaner, and just makes life easier. Absolutely worth it.
I’ve had it for two weeks. It’s incredible. The ice balls are smaller than my molds, but they’re still nice size. 2 inches. Very pleased.
This machine is a powerhouse. It makes solid icy cubes and in short order.
I had previously used a machine that made gum drop shaped ice and was really wet
This new machine produces much higher quality frozen ice! So glad I selected it rather than crushed ice machine I was considering!
We purchased this for our daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. She uses it everyday. It is still working just as good as the first day she used it.
I replaced my old nugget ice maker because it would not continue to make ice, and it was extremely loud. This one is amazing in every way. Buy you won't be disappointed.
LOVE! As the weather gets hotter we go through ice at a lightening speed! This machine makes ice so quickly and it doesn't melt right away. I purchased on sale, but to be honest I would have bought it full price. Can't be a sale! Very sturdy machine you can tell the durability is really good due to it not being made of plastic. Spend the money on this machine so you are running to the store for ice! It holds a large quantity of water also so you aren't always filling it.
**Product Review: A Game-Changer in Ice Making!**
I rarely write reviews, but this ice maker deserves recognition. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by its sleek, modern design—it instantly upgraded the look of my kitchen. This is not just another ice maker; it’s a statement piece.
What truly sets this machine apart is its *performance*. After a quick initial cleaning, it started producing ice faster than any other machine I’ve owned. The ice it makes is at the perfect temperature—cold enough to last all day in my thermos without melting into a puddle by noon. It’s ideal for daily use, whether you're filling coolers, tumblers, or water bottles.
One of the smartest features is the **dual water tank system**. Tucked neatly inside the machine, these tanks reduce the hassle of constantly refilling water. It’s a simple yet powerful upgrade that saves time and effort.
The **touchscreen display** adds a touch of luxury and ease-of-use. The interface is intuitive, responsive, and makes it incredibly easy to control the settings or monitor the ice-making progress.
So far so good! Our other ice machine just died after 3 years! Machine work well and makes perfect ice! Ease of use is a no brainer too! When it kick on and is making ice and can be a bit loud but it’s temporary and not constant sound!
The ice maker in our refrigerator broke years ago and is way too expensive to replace. As such, we switched to a countertop ice maker. We had a different brand for a couple years until it died. It was a pain to clean, so we looked for a different company for a replacement. We have had this ecozy ice maker for about 9-10 months now and have really been happy with it. It is a bit noisy, but I get the impression they all are despite what they claim. It makes ice fairly quickly, certainly meeting our needs as a family of 5. Cleaning this machine is easy and effective, neither of which was the case for our last ice maker. Since it sits on the countertop and the holding chamber is not refrigerated, the ice is not as cold as it would be when stored in the freezer. We usually just use the ice directly from the machine, but we do move some to the freezer for when we need it (like making shaved ice).
I’ve always wanted to have a “Sonic” ice maker! I looked into full-size ice makers but the cost is high. They take up the space of an entire kitchen cabinet. I would not be able to use the high volume produced so would waste time throwing away old ice and cleaning the ice maker. In the past, I would purchase a bag of ice at Sonic and store in the freezer. The local Sonic closed so this ecozy ice maker was the solution.
WHEN USING THIS ICE MAKER, KEEP IN MIND HOW LONG IT TAKES TO FREEZE NORMAL ICE CUBES IN AN OLD-FASHIONED ICE TRAY OR HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR A BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR TO PRODUCE ITS FIRST BATCH OF ICE.
The manual says to use drinking water, not distilled water. This may be due to the same reason a Keurig coffee maker cannot use distilled water if brewing a carafe cup of coffee. The maker uses the conductivity of the water to determine if there is enough water to do its job. Distilled water has minerals removed so is relatively not conductive.
The manual also says ice is produced faster if cold water is used. I purchased “Drinking Water” from the grocer and refrigerated it. We don’t use tap water for our appliances because the local tap water is really hard and damages appliances with scale buildup that is extra work to clean.
Doing the above, the first ice was produced at 5 ½ minutes.
About 15 ½ minutes later, there was enough ice for what I prefer in a drink (SEE PICTURE).
At 1 hour and 30 minutes, the liter of water added to the ice maker was turned into ice and the red colored “Add Water” light came on and the ice maker automatically stops. There are also sensors that detect a full ice basket and automatically stop ice production.
The inside of the ice maker is not a refrigerator or a freezer so it’s best to remove the ice periodically as it is made and put it in a freezer. If the ice is not removed, it slowly melts and returns to the water reservoir to be made into ice again. The ice maker does contain refrigerant and the ice making process does require a fan so do not expect the ice maker to be silent during operation.
The ice is maybe a little harder and has less air than Sonic ice but is a PERFECT SUBSTITUTE for me!
The water reservoir holds a maximum of 1 liter of water and you can see the 1 liter Pyrex measuring cup PICTURE of a full basket of ice. The Pyrex measuring cup actually overflowed when I poured the ice into it.
The machine is nice looking and the carrying handle, ice basket, ice scoop function nicely. There is a drain plug in the bottom that helps remove water in-between uses. It’s easy to reach all areas to manually dry the ice maker.
At the see-through lids highest position when opened, 18 1/2 inches of clearance is needed underneath cabinets. The ice basket can still be removed if the lid is not completely open. If much less clearance is available, the ice maker depth is shallow enough that it can be pulled forward on the counter in front of cabinets during use.
The manual is complete, with pictures and written in grammatically correct English. A support email address, hotline and hours of operation are included.
I’m really happy with this ecozy ice maker and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.
